Valuation of businesses, operations and parts of operations are common and become necessary in many situations.
Valuation of blocks of shares and classes of shares includes assessment of specific issues such as control premia and discounts.
Valuation of options and other financial instruments become relevant when designing employee incentive programmes and restructurings.
Ahead of transactions, an external expert may be required to evaluate the offer, a so-called “fairness opinion”.
